Default fuel injection light

Ya I know it's a bit strange to see me posting a question in the forum, I'm usually doing the helping I have, as most of you know, put a full system on my bike in the reascent days gone by. The new exhaust that I installed, has no valve in the exhaust, thus turning my fuel injection light on all the time. The bike runs just fine and still has tones of power but the light is on none the less. If anyone has any knowlage about what to do about this short of installing a piggyback computer, please let me know, thanx.

it almost helped, I had to do a bit of testing, the wire colors do not corrospond, my bike has no brown wire with a black stripe. I diconected the wire for the position sensor but the light now comes on goes off then comes on and remains on. I'll have to ask around I guess, thanks for the link there uncle bob.

Guess you had more responses to your post over there than to do a set remove search ! ( I'm like Santa, I know you posted the same question over there and the first response lead to a dead end ).

Glad you solved the problem.

Did you dyno the bike before and after mods ? Would like to see what effect the components have on performance.

nope, no dyno done, I'm not really to concerned. Would have been neat to see I guess but, it's a bit late now, There isn't a dyno very close to my home anyhow, I'd have to go over a fairly high elevation and I don't feel like riding in snow, lol lol.
