|  78' GS750E Timing Question. HELP!
Hey guys. Hows it going? I got a question for you but I'll give you some background info first. I while back I got a 78 GS750E. Its in rough shape but mechanically its fine. I rode it for a while and decided that I was going to take it apart(first mistake).. clean the carbs, scrub & clean the valves etc etc. Everything went fine, I got everything clean and put back together up until I had to put the dual cams back on. Like a FOOL when I took it apart I only scratch-marked one of the cams! I didnt think to do the other one(second mistake).. So now I'm in a pickle. I've guessed a couple times, with TDC and whatnot.. but nothing worked. So can you help me get it right? Remember I got one of the cams right, its just the other one thats off. I'll take pictures of it if you need me to. Anyways I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks!! Marksman |
