I always wondered why I smell like gas when I get off from the bike. Sometimes when I hit a high RPM and shift I can feel a little splash of water or some sort on my left hand, but soon figured it was drops of gasoline.My tank has a little dent right next to the gas cap (bought the biked used from a dealer), and everytime gas splashes around in the tank, a drop of gasoline would sneak out from the outer portion of the gas cap. It doesn't spill all the time or anything but only when the gas splashes around inside the tank. Is there anything I can use to seal up the gas cap? Also if anyone knows if the warranty will cover these type of things, when I bought the bike from the dealer it was used and already had that little dent on the gas tank.
