| Site Wrench Head ![]() | number one, sounds like your tank slappers got pretty bad, handle bar dent in the tank? ouch. To get cracks fixed in the plastic, go to a body shop and get them to plastic weld them up. You could fiberglass them up but that doesn't last as long. Good luck.

| Thanks Chad. To da body shop we go. No tank slappers or problems on th gixxer. this is the Kawi. Most of the damage was the previous owner. He went down on the left side and I went down on the right. Left fairing and tank messed up good my side just lots of scratches.

| Eya. If the rip in the fairing isn't too bad (and you don't want to fork out for a plastic welding) you could also try some carbon fibre (the material, not the board) on the inside of the fairing with an acrylic glue, Its not greatly solid but if you have trouble (especially with old bikes) finding a replacement than thats an alternative. - Adrian |
