You really need to get an owner's manual. It is full of vital information regarding the care and operation of your motorcycle.

On most bikes, it is also recomended to change the coolant every 2 years. You may want to check if it was done.

I'm working on purchasing manual. But any ideas on type, any 50/50 coolant will do?

I like the premixed type of coolant. Be sure it says that it is compatible with aluminum radiators and you'll be good.
