|  C90 instrument panel help.
Tonight after a good long ride I noticed when I got on the freeway that my speedo was at 0. Then I noticed that my digital readout and gas guage etc were all gone. I pulled to the side of the road and put in neutral but no light. No horn, turn signals but I still had a headlight. Turned the bike off and let her sit for a few and started her back up and still had the problem. i got home and took off the battery terminal and let it sit for about 30 minutes went back out and put it on and still same issue. Earlier I had overfilled the tank by a little bit and the extra fuel came out of the corner hole and dropped onto the case cover which I cleaned off immediately. Other than that no issues or hard riding or anything to cause this that I know of. The only other thing I can htink of is that a fuse blew out but I had to go to work and don't have the manual with me so I was wondering exactly where the fuses were on this bike (2005 C90)...When I get home tomorrow i'm gonna take a look at this and if that isn't the problem I guess off to the dealer Monday. Bike runs fine other than this too... Also, since the trip and regular odometer are digital will I lose the mileage I have put on it so far? |
