Ok you all probally kknow i have a 1979 GS550L well... so i thought. as you may have seen i have had some "ignition problems or was also diagnotis as possible fuel problem" well my battery died again (brand new battery) so here come the fun part... i look in the manual and it says i have a regulator and a rectifer well i looked high and low couldnt find it so i fliped to a page for 1980 gs550lt and BAM 1980 the combined it all into one... so im thinking maybe somone changed it to that style regualtor is it possible?
well anyways it seeems to be i need an alternator is this hard to do i have the clymer manual and they discuss it in like 1 paragraph but that doesnt tell me how hard it is to do in the "real world"
