| Hello I'am looking for a repair manual for a 1983 GS650L Suzuki. Can any point me in a direction to get one hopefully used. Plus on my bike I unfortunately have it parked already for the winter(It is damn cold here already) and I seem to have a gas leak. Not bad just notice a few drops on the card board. My bike has no fuel shut off for storage. What should I do, or what is the problem, so I can get the gas smell out of my garage and the bike fixed before next spring. | A few here have that bike and will be along to help. There should be a shutoff on the petcock. Should drain the carb float bowls. Strating to get chilly here, not as bad as you, I have gone to heaver gloves, but noticed to-day I may need to switch to heaver ones yet. Good luck. |

| Thanks blackie1491 my bike doesn't have a shut off on the pet ****.And someone told me once not to drain the carbs because it will dry out the gaskets,I put fuel stabalizer in my gas to help deal with any problems that way.But I do not know what to do this is my first year with a bike and everyone I talk to tells my something different. But if more people out there tell me to drain my float bowls then I will. it is tough to know what to do, to do it write. I guess it is a lot like having sex until you do it right and get the results you are looking for all you are doing is ****ing around. So please help this first timer out.
