Default No turn signals, HELP!

Hey guys what's up, first post but i have a ?. I just purchased a 97 GSX-R600 SRAD, but it did not have any blinkers front or rear. It used to be a track bike so the previous owner didn't need them, but now that I own it I want to make it street legal. So we took it apart and can't figure out the problem. The switch is still there, there is power at the fuse but the light on the gauges is not lighting up and we don't hear the usual clicking noise?? Were assuming it's missing the relay, but where is it located at??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to hook bulbs to the wiring or you will have a totally open circuit, thus the indicator and the flasher not indicating or clicking.

Have you got lights wired in yet?

Do all four have to be wired up at the same time? When we were testing we only hooked up the front two.

If it's like the Katana, all four must be connected before it will work at all.

Flasher relay should be located under the clocks on the left hand side behind the headlight, If you have two relays there it's the one nearest the front of the bike.

Have you gotten a service manual yet? It sounds like either the signal relay isn't there or there is a wiring problem. Get the service manual and a multimeter and track it down!
