Default Does anyone know about Mean City Cycles

www.meancitycycles.com[/url]

They do seat mods at a pretty reasonable price. For those of us who don't have the time and or the skill to do it ourselves. I was wondering if they do a good job and how much time it takes for them to get the job done.
Thanks

He does a great job. He's REALLY busy, so give him a call and schedule a time to have it done. That will minimize your downtime.

How is the padding towards the rear of the seat ? I ride with my butt at the edge of the seat.

He can make it any way you want it. If you want it heavier in the back, he can do it. Just let him know.
The one he did for me has a slight recess in the padding at the lowest point of the seat pan, just trying to give me a little more room since I'm over 6' tall.

I also got a recommendation from a complete stranger to give all my worldly goods to his cult.

I sent my seat in to Mean City Cycles and when it came back it was a bit lower and a bit more of a form fitting shaped seat...but it still made my tail numb in 50 miles. He kindly took it back and did his super mod for free.... but it still did not make it work any different for me.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to talk to them in the next couple of weeks, and see what they will say.
