Default Invicta Saddlebags DO NOT BUY

I purchased a set of Invicta Saddlebags and have had nothing but regrets. The bags are cheaply made, the hinges and latches are made of weak material and rattle excessively. The screws used to mount the hinges and latches must be made of lead because they striped out way too easy when I tried to tighten them up to reduce some of the rattling. The mounting brackets are made of steal but are so thin they allow the bags to wobble while riding down the road. It looks like I have two bobble heads attached to my bike.

Installation instructions were not provided with the saddlebags and I had to search the internet for a company that sold similar saddlebags with a similar mounting system (which are better, I bought my wife a set of bags from the other company). I called and emailed Invicta several times for assistance but I never received any communication back.

In error, Invicta sent me a second set of saddlebags and being a man of morals I informed them of their error. They emailed me back and asked me to mail the extra set of saddlebags back to them with a promise to reimburse me for the shipping. Foolish me, they stiffed me for $75 of shipping while I saved them $750. That will teach me to be a good citizen.

Invicta sells their saddlebags from their website as well as ebay. Do not buy these bags from “fiberking” on ebay or Lian Song from their website.

Bummer. No good deed goes unpunished, eh? At least you have your conscience.

Welcome!
