Default Kudos to Maine Suzuki Dealership

Well this may be the wrong forum to bring this to BUT, THIS IS A SCREAMING GOOD DEAL ! Several friends and I were making a ride from Michigan to Bar Harbor, ME. Returning from Portland ME to Bar Harbor, I had the misfortune of blowing the belt on the drive conversion I had installed on my Marauder. I was dead in the water. I was only 5 miles or so from a HD dealership. They were good enough to call the Paul Blouin Suzuki dealership in Augusta ME for me. This is where my good fortune cuts in . . . Paul Blouin Suzuki, sent an employee with a trailer out to pick me up [after 4 pm]. Reggie entertained me with small talk on a mutually interesting topic on the ride to the shop. They hustled me into the shop, recorded the details of how I wanted them to deal with the problem and gave me a loaner car so I could be on my way. They were quick, efficient, and courteous. When I returned on Friday a.m., the bike was out in front of the dealership waiting for me. The special repair parts could not be overnited to the dealership in time for them to make the repairs for me so I was going to transport the bike home in a borrowed trailer [it belonged to one of our group] I met the service manager, David Berger, to turn in the key to the loaner car and to settle my bill, presumably for emergency transport of my bike, diagnostic service on my drive system and attempting to procure the required parts, not to mention my use of the "loaner" car for a couple days. With an empathic smile, Dave expressed his regrets at my trip being spoiled by my breakdown, told me the bike had already been placed out in front for my pick-up and asked if I needed help loading it. My response was no thanks, I had only to settle my bill with them and my friends would help with the rest. He accepted the key to the loaner, but explained there would be absolutely NO CHARGES, FOR ANY OF THE SERVICES THEY HAD RENDERED. I was pleased but flabbergasted ! I have never experienced customer service to that degree before in my many years. I regret they are so far away that I can't make them MY DEALER. They certainly have my appreciation and my admiration. I hope that some of you may have the chance to deal with them.
