Default Angry rant aimed at Kuryakyn

Man, talk about frustration. I let the really small things get to me, and today was just that kind of situation. Awhile back my mirror adapter for my Suzuki M50 broke off INSIDE the mirror, requiring me to go and have it taken out professionally (by a friend) He rebuilds motors so he knows his stuff, but even easy out and his other methods wouldn't work, so he retapped it. So now I have some NEW adapters, also made from Kuryakyn, and I'm all ready to put my mirrors back on. Well one of the stupid adpaters was threaded wrong! How can you mess up making a BOLT?! I know just a small error in the threads can ruin it but c'mon! Two bad adapters in a row? Gimme a break. Then I thought, "Maybe I'm just frustrated and i'm getting in a hurry." I knew I was turning it the right way, but tried the other just to be sure, which made me feel even more stupid. Then I thought, "Maybe it's the hole itself on the bike...crap now I'm in trouble." But when I went to get my old mirrors they went right in, no problem! So I've got another crappy adapter, that's two strikes for Kuryakyn. It's a 10 dollar problem but dang, 10 bucks will fill my tank up! I'm calling them tomorrow AGAIN to have them send me another free set AGAIN. Hopefully they'll get it right this time. Just my little rant for the day, it's been one of those days for sure...

Oh and get this: today I go to get ANOTHER pair of adapters from a local bike shop. So I get the new ones, one adapter goes in no problem. The other one has THE SAME THREADING PROBLEM!! But this time I got smart and put the mirrors on AT the store, so when I found that one was messed up I walked in and got the good one from the old pair and gave him the two bad ones. He even tried putting it in himself. I guess they had a bad batch from the factory. 2 bags in a row with the same threading problem only on 1 adapter? Gotta be something up there. I'm not so pissed at Kuryakn anymore, just don't understand how it could'v happened.

Is it possible that you got a pair of adapters that are for a Yamaha? One of the adapters will be threaded the opposite way on Yamaha adapters.
