| Anyone have saddlebags on their M50? If so, what size are they and are they the slant style? I hate to do this but I am taking a ride with a group from Chicago to Mackinaw and will need the storage. I want to get the throw over style so I can pull them off. Some say no supports needed, but I don't see any other way of keeping the bags off the rear tire and rim. I figured I could buy the Suzuki supports and mount them with a nylon washer between he bracket and fender rails so as to not mar the chrome. What has worked for you guys? Waiting to install my jardines until after trip just to be safe, plus the quiet pipes will be nice on a long ride.

| I installed cruisn saddlebags(jumbo-slant) not too big...click on link to see pics of it installed...you're going to laugh, because i ordered saddle bag supports for it, but the ones i got were the wrong ones- so i remembered the front reflector brackets that i almost threw out together with the ugly reflectors...and used that to hold the bags in place, ( i had to drill a small hole on each side of the fender and placed a screw/locknuts on each side, same with the saddlebags...now it stays in place, i also mounted it high enough so it wont sway/ hit the rear tires, but 2 more screws on top (small upholstery screws underneath the pillion seat) of the saddle bag yoke made sure it'll stay in place....it can still be "quickly dettached" if needed.

| All saddlebags I've seen have the same downward slant mostly complimenting full rear fenders like the C50. I'd like to see bags that slant upward in the rear to match the M50 fender. Hmmmmmmmm ... Just a quick thought, not my best Photoshop ... see attached.
