| I was wondering if anyone has a solution to squeaky front brake. It only happens when I am barely moving, or the last couple of feet before I come to a complete stop. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Also I would like to say thanks for all the good posts and all the tips.

| Hi Hank, no sure if this is related, but i noticed a squeak or metalic rubbing sound when I was pushing my bike the other day.sounds like the front disc is rubbing as it goes through the piece that clamps down on it to stop. Does yours do this or are you just talking about a plain old squeaky break?

| I have heard a rubbing between the front brake as I am backing into the garage before but thought nothing of it. Although the past few days I am getting a squeak from the front as I am coming to a stop light. Any thoughts?

| My front brake was making the metallic sound the first 100 miles or so, but then went away. Pretty common for new rotors and pads to do and should go away with miles.

| Wants Better Weather ![]() | Mine did it a little when I made my stops too slowly and also when I manuver it arround to park in the garage. So I took it out and practiced a few quick stops and really used the front brake and it went away. Might have a little glaze built up.
