Default New Additions ...

Got more stuff today ... man, the wife's gonna KILLLLL MEEeeee! Nah, not really; I actually got her on the bike last week ... her first time on a bike ... period! She was a little nervous, but actually she enjoyed it .

- Kuryakyn Switchblade Footpegs
- Kuryakyn Small ISO Pegs without ends
- Kuryakyn Drivers footpeg adapters
- Kuryakyn Passenger footpeg adapter
- Kuryakyn Shift Peg Cover
- Kuryakyn License Holder
- Loctite Thread Treatment Stick
- Cobra Brake Pedal Cover
- Cobra Drive Shaft Cover
- Cobra Front Caliper Cap
- Cobra Reservoir Cover Fluted

Now just waiting on the Vance & Hines Cruzer pipes ! Here's a pic of the switchblade front foot pegs showing one open and the other closed. I think they're sportier than the larger cruiser footrests, yet there for when those dogs get tired!

Maybe you should apply for some sponsorships from them...just attend a few shows/promotional events i mean you bought over half the available products available for the m50 anyways right?

No, once you're done, get the C 50 and start again, then get the..............
Why stop at mods, start building a stable and get mods for all of them!

I've actually been looking at those switchblade footpegs for my S50; would you recommend them?

Attempted to install the pegs this morning and found that the adapters are incorrect. I called the retailer so I can swap them out. Looks like a bit more of a delay . He also told me after some research, Kuryakyn does not yet make the correct adapters for the rear pegs. I however might be able to modify the ones provided, so I'm keeping them ... if it works, I'll post the info. I did install the driveshaft cover which looks very nice as it covers the tire inflation sticker and provides a more balanced look of chrome in comparison to the other sides exhaust. Also installed the brake reservoir cover, front caliper cover and license plate frame ... nice touches.

i am considering the pegs and driveshaft cover now that he says it balances out the pipes on other side.

small Cobra covers for brake caliper and resevoir seem too minor to worry about.

Updates:

Well, I'm not pleased with the Kuryakyn clutch pedal cover #KY-8851. It's a universal fit, and after removing the stock rubber then requires multiple electrical tape wrappings in order to fit snug. And if you wrap too much in hopes of a tighter fit, the rubber from the Kury peg starts to push outward. Plus, the only thing keeping it from spinning around is one little allen screw which does not reach all the way to the metal peg in order to lock on. In all ... nice unit, bad fit ... I don't recommend it.

The Kuryakyn brake pedal cover #KY-4029 is also universal, but tends to have a better fit. I'm not sure of the look as of yet ... it "looks" universal which displeases me a bit ... but that may be due to my not having installed the switchblade foot pegs yet (waiting on the correct adapters).

Cobra's chrome driveshaft cover #06-0825 looks nice. At first I was a little sceptical of the "zip-tie" installation, but it works and is not noticable. Thumbs up on this little add-on.

Found my old digital camera (had to get batteries). My wife has the other one with her. Anyway, here's a pic of the footpegs, brake and clutch pedal covers. I'm finally okay with the look and installation of it all. Check out the switchblade action ... GO GO G.I. JOE!! Gives a great foot rest without the look of the heavy cruiser ... cool design, and you can open and close them while riding too! I love 'em.

Zuki Dude,

Your switch blades look great! Looks like a great alternative to floorboards. What were the part numbers for the pegs and for the front peg adapters you finally ended up with to fit the M50.

Thanks!

Thank-YOU! Here's what you'll need:

- KY-4446 Switchblade Footpegs
- KY-7939 Drivers Footpeg Adapters

Kuryakyn incorrectly shows the footpeg adapters for the '05 M50 as p/n KY-8820. It is wrong because first it's completely solid not allowing use of the factory spring, and it's round with no way of stopping the pedal from falling down. The one that fits the M50 is KY-7939 which is shown for the C50.

OK, I couldn't stand it any longer with all of the neat stuff being put on everybody else's M50's..... I just ordered the switchblade footpegs and a Memphis Shades Big Shot windshield.

Is it true once you start, you can't stop? Oh no!

How are you now with the brake pedal after it's all together. Does it look less "universal"? Also, do you know what the difference is between the shift cover you used and the KY 4034 is?
