|  Installed the Kuryakyn grips
After putzing around with the fender mod, I finally got to the grips. Fairly straight forward install. I had a very hard time briefly in removing the handlebar end-weights. Every time I attempted to loosen the screw, the weight would spin. The screws were so tight in fact, I ended up drilling them out. After that, the install was very easy. I am very pleased with the look and feel of these grips. I also opted for the throttle bosses (both sides); they are a comfortable rest for your palm. Anyway, here you go: BEFORE  AFTER  ... and here's the bike with all the mods I purchased last week. It's coming together rather well in my opinion. I'm looking to do the footpegs next and maybe a light bar for the front. I also want to add an LED bar for the license plate, and find a attractive frame.  |
