Bought some of these for the M50 from a forum member...Turns out the product # is for the M109. Installed anyway and they seem to hang about 1.5" too low ( I have Flanders Bars...don't know if that matters). Called NC to check the options...I suspected I just needed a shorter bracket. Guy said the bracket would be the same but the M50 actually had a different shield. That seemed really strange to me. New shields arrived today...Freakin' same thing. If there is a difference, it is imperceptible and absolutely does not make a difference on the install. Anyone running these hand deflectors on the M...or for that matter any other bike? I'm wondering if design is intended to hang low...presuming the wind sort of comes "up" at the hand. Doesn't make sense to me, but I never took physics or aerodynamics. Pix I've seen of the product show it totally level and in line with the grip. I'll call NC again tomorrow, but thought I'd fish for opinions here in the meantime. |
