according to wikipedia, the 1100 goldwing was introduced in 1979.

although, it does make a lot of sense.

I tell the guys at work that the old 850 back in the day was big, and they look at me funny (in this day and age, anything under 1100 cc is considered medium sized).

know a guy who owned 1100xs and he said the thing went like hell.

where was this thread originally headed again?
