 |  Problems all of a sudden
Was riding Saturday morning, about a 2.5 hour trip. Half way there on the hwy I realized that the M seemed to be losing power. Gave it some throttle and it vibrated more than normal but did speed up but slowly. When I was most of the way to my destination I saw the fuel meter showed one bar and it was blinking. No way I should be that low. Filled up and it took more gas than it ever has for this trip. So fuel mileage has taken a hit also. Came back Sunday night. Still vibrating, still low power, still going through more fuel than it should. 07 M50, appx 23K miles, change oil every 2K. Ideas? Don't have a garage nor a safe place to work on the bike. Don't have many tools. It's getting cold outside. |
