Default Slipping clutch?

A couple of times this last week I was accelerating up a hill at high revs and felt something like a slipping clutch or momentary fuel hiccup. It only occurs (so far) on hills at high revs in 2nd & 3rd gears.

I was thinking slipping clutch, worn shaft splines (ala burnchassis) or ECU fuel control. Anyone else experience something like this or have additional ideas of what it might be?

She's a 2007 with 2400 miles (purchased used with 754 miles and documented 600 mile service). I ride it relatively easy and I'm using Rotella T 5W-40.

Premature thanks for any input.
