why limit it to M50s? come on now, don't be hating on your laid back twin brothers, the C50s. for that matter, why not just a whole herd of Boulevards? hrmmm?...

but honestly, I'm seriously interested in participating in a big ride with a bunch of people with the same style of bike. It would be quite the sight, seeing the same bike... but at the same time not the same bike. I haven't seen any one picture on here that shows the same identical bike. Everyone has their idea of what a bike should look like and each idea is fantastic. I think getting as many people together as possible would be completely fantastic.

If this is going to happen though, we need to establish a time, place, and plan pretty far ahead of the time. I'm willing to drive pretty far for something like this if a whole bunch of people are willing to participate.

I'd have an interest in something like this if it was planned well enough in advance for me to snag some vacation time for it.

Perhaps somewhere in the Kentucky/Virginia border area in the mountains? Or the TN/NC border area to be closer to I40 for those coming from the west (northern border region, since the southern border region around deals gap and whatnot can get more than a little crowded)

Also, an option to consider depending on the # of people, are vacation cabin rentals (not the empty cabins you find in state parks, but the loaded sattellite TV full kitchen cabins you rent directly from the owner) I've seen cabins that sleep 10-12 people renting as cheap as 175 a night in the blue ridge area. Just something to think about.

This guy volunteered. Where's he at?

Maybe pick a good, central-enough location and have the nearest local MJ member who will be going supply good information about accommodations. I have good info for my area but that won't do us any good if the ride is going to be down south somewhere.

Looks like you'd be on my way to anything south of Ohio, burnchassis. We'll have to hook up for the ride.

If you'uns decide to do it in TN/NC area and want to do the Great Smoky Mtns Nat Park...Motel 6 in Kodak TN...$35.99/night is what i paid in May. Kodak is North of park, right on I-40.

Definitely ride the Cherahola Skyway....Be careful on Dragon's Tail (BEWARE other drivers) Check out twisties on US129 below(south) of dragon. Do the Wheels thru Time museum in Maggie Valley NC....old bikes u would not believe/never heard of.

If you decide to do someplace else....plz let everyone know...I'm in PA, next to Allegheny National Forest. (No Helmet law in PA over 21yrs old.)

cranky

If this ride goes through TN/NC then count me in. I also have a couple of buddys (C50 & a Marauder) who would probably join as well.
