Riding with Flags - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I was on a camping trip a couple years back and I remember seeing something I thoguht was pretty cool. There was a guy riding down the highway with a full size flag attached to his motorcycle like the kind you'd see in a parade. Here's a pic to give you an idea of what I mean. (sorry I still suck at attaching photos and links and such)

I am wondering how he managed to pull off carrying a flag while high-speed riding? I've looked around for flag mount systems but haven't located a single one that says it's rated above 25 mph (parade riding). I think it would be fun in an outrageous way to bust out a big flag. Does anyone have an idea of how the rider secured the flagpole? Would the wind resistance from the flag really screw up the riding? He seemed to be doing okay on a highway at around 60-70 mph.
