Another Airbox Intake Cover Mod - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

So a buddy gave me an old intake off his sportster that he was gonna throw out. I thought it might look cool on the M, so I took a stab at it.

All the stock parts are still in tack, so in about 2 seconds I can throw the old teardrop back on. Only thing I had to do was make some tabs to secure the air filter piece to the bike using the stock 3 screws. Then I just mounted the screamin eagle cover right to the air filter. I realize it's going to run a bit leaner now, but it starts right up and is running great. I can hear it sucking in air, but it's still pretty well covered, and protected from water, and I didn't have to cut anything, or relocate the air sensor which was nice.

I know it says harley on it, but what can I say...it was free. Oh, and well I do have Harley hand grips, so it's not a total lie!
