Default New tires for the M

Went to Harbor freight today and picked up this wheel balancing stand: - Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

I also got the portable tire changer. They didn't have the motorcycle wheel attachment for it so I'll have to order it from their website.

I am ordering the pirelli MT66 route from motorcycle superstore ( good price and free shipping). $76.99 for the front and $102.99 for the rear.

After 2500 miles on the factory tires, I think I'll be able to get a better ride with some decent tires.

If I had just one bike I would probably take it to a shop to get the work done but I also have a 1981 Virago 750 and a 1975 Goldwing so doing the tires myself will save me some bucks in the long run. Plus I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

After Wednesday I'll have 10 days off, so I'll have plenty of time to get it done and to try out my new tires.
