|  Bad News: M's gotta go
Since GM's announcement things have gone downhill ever since. My employer panicked and did a "Workforce Reduction" since GM was a major source of income for the company. In the past the job market was so good I could get another job/contract within a week. Now.... well it's been since April and only 4 return calls that ended in no offer. Talked with a lawyer Friday and he said the M has to go back to the dealer, Bankruptcy Judge won't allow us to keep the Van or the Motorcycle. I asked "How the #@&& am I going to get to a job when I do get hired?" We'll be losing the house as well, so we're sending our 4 kids out of state to relatives to go to school there. And we were told we need to stay here to show up for the court crap. This forum has been a GREAT wealth of information and Great people! I'll be gone for a while until I can get me another M. Will change things back to stock before they pick it up. But until then I'll be riding it as much as possible. I'll try and peek in now and then but our new location will not have internet so it probably won't be often .... until I can get another frigg'n J.O.B. that is! - Keep Cruising!  |
