I got about 7500 out of my OEM tires. Replacement bars were starting to show and cracks in the sidewalls. Tread still looked ok, but I was going into winter and wasnted no crap on the wheels. The other way to avoid flat spots is to keep riding. Course then you have to worry about water spots. Me, I ride most of the year, I invested in good rain and cold gear.

I have an 07 M50. I got just over 16K out of the stock rear tire. I'm at about 18K miles now on the stock front tire and still have plenty of tread. I did run over a nail on the new rear tire and have to replace it. ![]() Here's the original stock rear tire just before replacing it. I did replace it with IRC since I got such good mileage out of it. |

This is mine with over 4000 miles on it. I am very religious as to keeping pressures correct. Always running 36 psi in rear and 29 in front. Most of my riding is two up and about 350 pound load.
