Default Looking for some M50 feedback.

I currently ride a '92 VS800. Took a 2008 M50 Limited Edition for a test ride today. It is used, but has just over 800 miles on it. I think it was 815 or so after my test ride (not that long).

I liked it being wider than my vs800, especially form my big butt. I was just in town, but it seemed fine, and much smoother than my VS800 (who knows, maybe I just need a carb sync, still doesn't make the seat as wide as my butt)

Not sure on the price, MSRP was 6899, they were asking 6400 and perhaps will let it go for 6000, I'm thinking 5800 about right, not sure if they'll go that low.

HOWEVER, and I see this is an issue for more than just me with the riser threads. I felt I was just a tad stretched forward for the handler bars. Dealer felt just rotating the bars back a bit would solve that. I'm thinking that is not the case.

I'm really looking to get some more comfort out of riding. If it isn't an M50 (love the looks btw) I'm starting to think SV650 or SV650S. I usually just commute on my bike.

I'm just shy of 6' and around 280. Never thought the vs800 was too small for me till I rode that M50 today. Felt like getting on a tricycle after the test ride. I do have some lower back issues. Nothing too major, but it is sore from time to time. M50 was better with the wide seat, but again the handlebars started to get uncomfortable after about 20 minutes. Somewhat better when I sat STRAIGHT up.
