Default Mustang Daytripper solo review

I've only ridden for a couple of days, but I wanted to post because others here have been asking about it lately.

The seat does push you further forward. My elbows are bent more as are my legs instead of them being stretched out with the stock seat. I'm only 5'11", so there isn't any issue with the controls. The foam in the seat feels softer and firmer than stock. The leather is much softer and initially it's a softer seat. However, after even a short ride, the stock seat couldn't hold up and I started getting that pain at the bottom of my back like many have experienced. You also sit a little more down in the seat since it isn't as thick as the stocker. The thinner seat will also take some getting used to.

My problem is my back. You are not leaning back nearly as much as with the stock seat. My posture has always been bad, so it's more likely just me, but the new way I have to sit really hurts my back. So much so that I'm debating on going back to the stock seat and just removing the "hump" for the long trip I have coming up. Then I can go back to the Mustang and take my time getting used to it.

I hope this is somewhat helpful.
