Cool video- I would suggest two things in the future though:

1. Next time, edit the end so people can't find out where you live. However, it's a sweet ending; closing the garage door...like "lights out!"
2. Can you angle the camera so we can see your speedometer as well as the road? I would love to see that analog dial just zippin up and down in high-speed.

To answer your survey: I don't ride like that; I don't think I could even if I tried. The traffic is not bad here anyway. It's a 5 mile trip to work for me.

Ok I did watch some of the video. Not all cause well this late in the day i have ADD. 1. nice camera mount spot. 2. I've ridden pretty aggressively on my bike but this is a whole new level in my opinion. 3. to each his own.

I'd never lane split not only cause it isn't legal here, but I don't trust anyone on the road.

Stop posting, with each post you become even more of an idiot.
You know, this most recent thread of his bears some resemblence to the troll postings of our little sport bike "friend".

It certainly LOOKS like a troll because I can't figure any other purpose for it.
AND how do we know that the vid. was even taken from a 50; near as I can tell, it could have been ANY bike......maybe even a 600 sport model !!

That's a fun video. I especially like the trick of speeding it up. I think if it were posted at real time, it would be far less "impressive" (to use the term VERY lightly).

Yeah, the video is 4 time the speed of reality. It is sped up because it would be too insanely boring for me to watch otherwise. I do think that many people are super freaked out because it's played at a higher speed, but since I don't have the source video handy I can't readily post the actual video. I always compress it and leave the original on an external HD because the source of that is like 500MB. Ironically, the external is at my friend's house who crashed on the first of the month. I have a lot of movies on there for him to watch while he's stuck in a wheelchair. Maybe when I get it back I'll post the real time video. I bet half of the people who think this is the craziest %%%% they ever saw will realize it's only mediocre crazy %%%%. I get passed constantly here in CA so I can't be THAT crazy. Not to say I'm a careful driver, just that people on sporties can freely pass me while I do what I do.

I would just slow this vid down 4x but then you are missing 3/4th of the data and it's all jumpy and still has this strobe-like appearance of super speed.

Oh and for the people who like the video. It's a Hero 5 Action Cam Wide Angle. It works really well and is only 200 bucks. It comes with lots of different mounts out of the box such as helmet and many bar configurations for mounting it on vertical and horizontal bars and still facing it up. It's also waterproof in the case which is pretty convenient. I'm a big fan of the camera, but if you like riding the twisties it does have a drawback. The 170 degree lens makes even a really twisty road look like a straitish line. The typical 90 degree lens(they sell one of this camera) is much more exciting for videos in the mountains, but I hadn't thought of that when I bought it and I have no money for 2. At least the wide angle catches ALL of the scenery LoL.

Oh and the bit about the bullet. Wow that does sound dangerous. I hope that our troops do not get rained on anymore. I'm happy to admit that I do seem to be wildly uniformed about bullets. But, since I have none, I still have no real urge to read up on them. Thanks for the info tho.

Have a nice day everyone.

I commute (cage) in L.A. every day. I agree, people who aren't used to living in cities like this would freak out over some of the stupid riders with death wishes that I see every day. Apparently, you see them every day, too!

There are mentions of referring to ridding a motorcycle in any manor is an individual right. The problem is that ridding a motorcycle is not a right at all. Driving a car is not a right. Both are privileges that are granted by the states. At any time they could take it away. So many bikers call riding a right and a freedom. It is neither.

cool. wanted that info...

as for riding like an asshat... i do ride like an asshat, but not to that extent. I ride faster than most, but i won't lane spilt.

you need to get yourself a sport bike, not a cruiser.

and if you do ride like that often, you will be a statistic. no matter how good you are, all it takes it one retard to do something unexpected and your toast.

just remember that no matter how good you think you are, it's a public road and you are sharing it... it's not yours.

I would never have the guts to split cars, but I understand it is legal to that in California. I will say, being a Marine, yes you are a psycho squid.
Be careful on the road Rider, I'd hate CHP to have to scrape you off the road.
