1st. break the allen head bolts loose ,there are four of them.The 2 top are 6 mm and the 2 at the bottom are 8 mm.(See pics #1-#2) just break them loose. 2nd Support your bike on a jack....by jacking it up to the current height.(youll need at least 1 1/2 inches. 3rd loosen the bolts until they are finger tight. 4th Grab the shock by your hand ,and give it a slight twist in the up direction,until you get to your desired point.May help to lower your jack at this point and put slight pressure on your tire.But do not remove your jack or you could drop your front end hard.(See pic #3) 5th Be sure your shocks are in line as they were,and tighten up the 4 bolts ,and your done. This I would rate a .5 out of 5 wrenches difficulty. Allow 10-15 minutes to complete. CS |
