|  ? About coolant level at actual radiator cap.
I have checked my coolant at the lower left canister, and it is right on the full mark. Today I took my tank off to install my new Bully FI Processor, and decided to take a look in the radiator at the actual radiator cap. I can see no fluid. I see an inner ledge about 1" or 2" below the opening but no coolant. Is this normal, or should I add coolant, even though it says it is full at the lower left side check point? Also, I have Aluma Cool fluid from my dirt bikes, and am wondering if a 50/50 mix of that would be OK to add to this radiator, and do you add fluid at the lower point, or at the radiator cap? I will also check my manual on this last one. Thanks in advance for any guidance here. Oldie......... |
