Crowd loving it. So just quick addition I cam about with about $2900. I love the idea but too rich for my blood. Thanks for going through all the effort to put this together and I think you have a nice little business opportunity here! Good luck bro

Hey there. I am thinking about doing this to my bike. I am very mechanically intelligent if that's what you want to call it, haha but I have no idea about turbos. I usually work on v8 gm motors so I never have had the need for a turbo. I have worked on some cat, cummins and Detroit diesel turbos but never got into all the know how. I can tig weld and all but the only thing I need help on is the turbo stuff. So what is needed? I see a turbo, some oil line maybe, and some other thing below the turbo. What's that and do I need it?think you could help me out?

mfifguy.. thats a wastegate and is a must its a tial 38mm.. it controls your boost by opening the exhaust before the turbo based off boost from your turbo by pushing against your spring inside the wastegate reducing the pressure behind the turbo in the exhaust therefore spinning the turbo slower creating less boost.... I will be posting the install of all the finished parts and where to tap into oil pressure from the motor for the oil feed line and return line.. the updated parts list is just about everything you will need

This is what im used to working on too.. I worked for Jon Barrett Hot Rod Engines in the "glory days" when we were building engines for the Wrecks To Richs show by Barry White Speed Shop in Corona Ca

looking at the charts one more time, it's really nice how that torque curve flattens out for over 1500 rpm - which means as you shift from one gear to another, there is a similar amount of torque providing more constant acceleration than a normal "peaky" engine.

although I do agree, at $2900 for this bike, it is getting a bit expensive.

Default Its in the list O stuff

The list of stuff is on the first page i believe its the 3rd item down a 93-99 SAAB Viggen DT04HL-15T a few up from that listing will take you directly to some on ebay (i think im going to have to sit you torward the front of the class so you can see the board lol or more frequent reviews..)... Friend, please pick a good wastegate... if you "skimp out" on anything for the install do not let it be the wastegate if you change it to external... (recommended so you can clock it similar to how I have mine) These turbos come with an internal wastegate.. however you cannot clock it the way I have put it on my bike, and Im not sure if you can adjust that rod to the point where only 4psi will open it... I highly reccomend a TIAL 38mm wastegate (ebay 210.00 any color you want just ask them to put a small red spring in 5.8lb) Remember the wastegate is going to Control how much boost your engine sees.. The stock fuel system isnt going to take much over 4lbs... ( I have a cheapish remedy in the process for this to be able to run 8lbs)

Horrible video of it on very first start up... I promise to do better on reassembly

I think I need to plan a road trip to see this thing in action. We have family in Edmund & OKC, so it could be a good time.
