|  Painting a bike?
All the plastic on my bike is kinda scratched from normal wear, so I was thinking of painting it. I want to do all the plastic, the tank, sissy-bar, intake housing, and fenders. My question is: what have people done on here that makes the paint look textured and flat? Is the paint just flat black and looks kinda textured? I wish I could find a pic again of what I want, but I can't. Buy I want flack black none the less. So, how can I do that? Is painting plastic, metal, and chrome the same process? Can I do this? Should I take it to a body shop and have them paint it? Any help would be very nice. Also, if you have a flat black bike, can you please post a pic so I can say yes or no, that's what I want? It would help clear up a lot of confusion of what I want. Thanks. |
