Default Wideband Commander Install and pics part 1

Guys,

Sorry for not posting my results of my wideband commander install.

The install was pretty simple. If you have installed a Power Commander than the Wideband is no problem. You do have to tap into a keyed power source though. I just tapped into the wire that powers the rear tail lights. Finding a place to put the wideband was kind of tricky since it had to be close to the PCIII because it piggy backs off of it so you can to use the LCD. I was able to find a place on the right side of the bike behind one of the plastic covers. It worked out great.

The tricky part was having the O2 Bung welded in. I was lucky enough to know a custom fab guy who did it for me. Just made sure i mocked it up for him before hand. I was able to sqeeze it between the Radiator and the engine.

The rest of it was just wiring the cable to the LCD up through that frame. Pretty simple.

With the pipe covers on you can't really see the O2 sensor at all.

I haven't really had time to really tune my last dyno ran map. At Zero map the bike idles at 14.5 and at WOT going 105MPH the thing is pegged at 12.00. At normal crusing speeds it runs at about 14.9's which is what its supposed to be i guess. Reading on some of the forums i found this

Air/Fuel Ratio Limits

6.0:1 Rich Run Limit
9.0:1 Low Power, Black Smoke
11.5:1 Rich best torque at WOT
12.5:1 Safe Best Power at WOT
13.2:1 Lean best Torque at WOT
14.7:1 Chemically Ideal
15.5:1 Lean Light Load, Part Throttle
16.2:1 Lean Economy, Part Throttle
18.22:1 Lean Run Limit

Look for the second part of this post
