|  If you have Aftermarket grips please look
ok im 20 years old and have ridden dirtbikes my whole life, i get an m50...super stoked right, ok i buy new KURYAKYN GRIPS for my bike install goes without a hitch just as the instructions say. I get a new back tire and no one says that its gunna be slick at fist so I take off out of the parking lot and it slides out from under me and the first thing to hit the pavement is the right grip. it pinches the throttle in wide open position and the tire catches pavement kicks the bike up and the smached grip comes across my thigh... 21stiches and smashes a dent in my gas tank... the moral of this story is check the travel of your handlbars with aftermarket grips, you will really hate yourself if something as stupid as a grip destroys your tank... and drive safely. p.s. sry for making this such a long story but plz learn from my mistakes. |
