Default Another taillight thread

Has anybody just moved the stock turn signals to the rear fender? I was debating between the integrated taillight and just drilling a hole for the stock taillights right behind the fender strut. Wanted to see if anyone had done the latter and had pics?

I removed my stock turn signals and added kuryakyn mini bullets that I mounted to the rear fender. No problems with mounting, you just have to commit to drilling holes in your fender

Yeah that's the problem, commiting to drilling those holes. What if you decide you don't like it and want to go with the integrated. You'll have big holes in the fender. That's a tuff one. I am moving my license plate to the side and am not sure what to do with those pesky turn signals either. What to do, what to do?

I hear that! Plus knowing my luck as I started drilling I'd probably crack the paint of something horrible and then I'd really be up the proverbial creek. I was also looking at the mini bullets with the fender strut mount bolts, but then I'd really like to match the fronts to the rear lights. $200 for a new set of 4 turn signals seems a bit over the top!

I went through the same thought process. I ended up doing the mini bullets on the back mounted to the fender. I was gonna due strut mount, but I have the bungee knobs on, so the bolts would not have been long enough. For the front I ended up doing clear lenses with silver star bulbs for turn signals and it looks pretty nice...here is a pic

Looks good shelby.
I wonder if it's possible to get some turn signals with longer bolts and then just replace the end bolts that hold the fender accents on. That way no drilling. Anybody hear about doing this already? Anybody done it yet?

I am curious to know if anyone mounted any flush mounts to the rear fender? If so... please share some pics.

Here is a link to some adapter bolts specifically for mounting mini bullets to an M50 fender strut.

Kuryakyn LED Silver Bullets

You have to go almost all the way to the bottom and look for this title:

LED Silver Bullet Accessories
Bullet Light Mounting Kit: for Metric Cruisers

Cheap, easy way to mount, but still got the problem of $200 for a set of four matching turn signals.

Those Ninja lights would look pretty sweet. Now I need to find something for the front marker lights, so I can keep the balance....
