| I would like to sit on an M50 with forward controls installed to see how they feel before buying and installing a set. Does anybody within 100 miles of Cleveland, OH have them installed and be willing to meet up with me? I'd sure appreciate it. With the bike stock as it is, my right foot keeps making contact with the brake lever. I'm thinking forward controls might remedy this. Thanks, Matt |

| I am in Syracuse, so not within your 100 mile range, but I can tell you that the Johns Kits forwards made a world of difference for me. I am 6'1", and, while I can't say that I was cramped with stock peg position, I felt that I might be more comfortable if I could stretch my legs forward a bit. I was right, and the Johns Kits put my feet and legs right where they need to be, and the bike just feels bigger. I lean into turns, especially tight ones, much better with them as well. Now, regarding your issue with the brake peddle: With these forwards, my heel drags the ground in tight turns before the pegs do because my foot is farther forward and sets more vertical on the peg, which does tend to put the front part of my foot up and farther back, away from the brake peddle. The John's Kits sell for a great price, and are extremely simple to install. Hope this helps..........
