Default Wandering on curves....

I've been riding for a little over a month now after a 10 year break...so I think I need some advise from the guys that have been riding the M a lot longer than me.

I noticed yesterday on a ride that when I get into a sweeping curve (about 50-70mph on the speedo) and really start getting the bike to lean to the point of my comfort level, that the bumps and dips on the road make the bike really wander around within the lane. It's not so much of the bike starting to lose grip as it is the bars seem to be wandering around as the suspension moves. Is this something I'm causing or is it specific to the M50? Better yet, is this something all cruisers do?

It just really worried me because I didn't feel like I had full control of the bike and I really wasn't pushing too hard (in my opinion). I was trying not to correct the wobble if you can call it that, but rather let the bike do what it wanted while I told it which way to go....kind of relaxed my arms a little so I wouldn't overcorrect. I tried it several times, sometimes maintaining speed and sometimes slowly accelerating in the curve...same thing once I got it into a lean and hit any imperfections in the road surface.

My rear shock is set at the next to highest setting right now if that makes any difference. I would search around the rest of the forums for this, but I wanted to know if this is something the M50 does or just me not being an experienced rider.
