Just rolled over 17,000 miles on my '06 last night and dropped the front wheel off for the first tire change this morning. Bike has been great!

Up to about 1500 now. Bought the bike last month and went on a trip to Chicago last week. Great way to break it in!

Just crossed 25,000 miles today on a breakfast ride. My 05 bike was bought in late 06 and gets about 8 months use easy year. No real problems with the bike, but it does consume some oil (a quart in 2000 miles). My M50 is set up for touring with a Slipstreamer Enterprise fairing, GIVI saddlebags and top box on the rear. I also use a small tank bag just below the warning lamp display, along with a windshield bag riding above the speedometer and attached to the handlebars.

I've been to Alaska last summer (4700 miles) and Nova Scotia this summer (4000 miles). I found it necessary to add a Mustang seat and handlebar risers for long distance comfort -- did that after the Alaska trip and was better off on the Nova Scotia trip because of it.

I've gone through three rear tires, and two fronts so far with the nod going to Kenda Kruz K673 tires as a good, cheap alternative to the IRCs and Dunlop D404s.

Ray Nielsen, in Minneapolis and went for a breakfast ride today!

8.4k mi purchased in May with 1400 on the clock. A lot of interstate highway miles a fair amount of daily driver use. I need to get a few more scenic rides next year. Factory rear tire is starting to bald. NMc

4301. 90% of my riding is to and from work, so I don't get to throw a lot of highway miles on it.
