Anything I should know before I jump into it?

I will just be replacing friction plates,so it should be a breeze ??

Well coming from a guy that never seen a clutch before.
It took about 45 minutes start to finish.
Nothing special needed.
I took a few pics,but its so simple,the pics dont say much.

How did you know you needed to change the clutch? Was it slipping? High mileage?

How does it ride now with the new clutch?

Hopefully you replaced the clutch springs while at the job. Stock springs on MOST Japanese bikes are made from music wire and sack out fairly early in their life.

There are better springs from Barnett Engineering, KG Clutch Factory, and EBC brakes that are made of stouter stuff. Most use silicon steel as a material and they DON'T sack out even after a long while.

Just a thought.
