| I see a lot of pics on here, especially those with forward controls, where it looks like in order to press the rear brake pedal the rider has to lift and/or significantly reposition their right foot. On a lot of pics it looks to me like the rear brake pedal pad sits above the rider's toes. Maybe it's just the pics or the angle the pics are taken. Do you have to lift or reposition your foot for the rear brake? If so, have you tried adjusting the rear brake pedal arm?

| I usually have to just rotate my foot in a little to get the brake. I like to have my toe not over the pedal because I have the feeling I may be slightly pressing on the brake when I don't mean too. I have the forwards, I have taken the pedal off and rotated it on the splines a little.

| nope. you leave your feet just the way your should. heel on the pedal and toes on the brake pedal. Tho in highway riding tho, i sometimes reposition my feet such that my toes are under the brake pedal. just a lil more comfortable. and besides, when you install the FC, you get to reposition the brake pedal to just the right position. but you'd already know this =) |

| I have the forward controls, and after I put them on I thought the brake pedal looked really high. After sitting on the bike, I found it was just about where it should be and only made minor adjustments. I think you need to keep it just a tad high so the travel does not go beyond your natural movement.

| In town riding, I keep my foot on the pedal. I also use a little of the rear brake to help balance the bike when making slow, akward turns and manuvers. If I'm out on a stretch of highway I'll relax on the foot paddle.

| I had trouble getting to the brake until I put forwards on. After I installed the forwards it looked like the brake pad was way too high. I took it for a ride and it is perfect. My bike stops now!

| When I had initially put my forward controls on, my toes would sit beneath the rear brake pedal pad. I'd have to rotate my foot so my toes would come out from under the pad, left my fit, bring it in so it was over the pedal and then press down on the brake. Adjusting the pedal on the spline fixed that.

| I have mine adjusted so I have to lift my toe slightly and rotate it into the peddle. Keeps me from accidentally flashing my brake light (like I've seen some other riders unknowingly doing).
