Cool NO speedo, neutral light, or gas warning light,

everything else works great, the hi-lo beam, fuel pump, signals, I can get on the bike and ride it anywhere, I checked all the fuses and they are fine on the fuse box under the toolbox, anywhere else for me to look it, ???

Exactly how did you "check" the fuses?

If it comes down to tracing wires looking for a broken one or a loose connector, you're gonna need a shop manual......or somebody who's been through that exact problem before. Probably can find either or both here.

can take off the tank cover piece and see if the cable came loose from the display panel. Other than that, follow the lead from the display panel through your bike and see if you've got a short someplace. Maybe a severed wire.

I guess your bike is slightly different than my 07, because I don't have a gas light. You will want to find a wiring diagram. I know on mine, the speedo and fuel pump are fed off the same fuse. If yours is similar, that rules that out. If you cant find a diagram, trace back from the speedo(red/bl wire on the 07, maybe the same for you), and find the first plug it comes to. Check connections there, if that doesn't help work back.

re: checking fuses...
did you just look at the fuses or use a meter?

visual inspection of them doesn't mean much... use a meter and make sure it's not an open on the fuse...

I know on my bike, the speedo and fuel pump are powered off the same fuse, so unless his is different, the fuse is good.

Thumbs down I traced everything today and

Can't find the problem. Even took my housings apart and found one bare wire section, taped it off and no fix. The horn doesn't work either. Basicall no speedo, no horn, no warning lights, but the high -lo beam light works on the panel. I can ride the bike anywhere, I want, but with no horn and no speedo so I'm afraid to take it out due to messin up the tripometer actual miles.

Separate problem but my batt was running low for a while I found out because it would not start......... but prior to it not starting the horn did not work for about 2 weeks and the bike started up just fine every time, however when it died and I charged my battery and made sure it held, the horn worked again, either because I "jiggled" something around or the relay or switch (I need to check my diagram) needs exactly the right amount of juice, many times at work that is the problem the component fails to work due to being 1VDC off, hope this helps.

Have you pulled out the headlight yet? I think that's about the only common point in what isn't working..most of that wiring goes through the headlight and there's a lot of wiring stuffed behind that bulb. My horn didn't work when I got the bike (used) and it was just a bad horn.
