Does anyone have a service schedule for the 02 marauder? I have 5500 miles on my bike and im wondering if theres set milage for have valves adjusted and other stuff like that I bought it with 3500 earlier this summer and it just doesn't seem to sound the same (cobra pipes on it the whole time).

Check out this post. It has a link to the service manual for '97 to '02. I downloaded it, and it does have the service schedule. It's 30Mb, so I hope you're not on dial-up

If you just bought it do everything anyway. You don't know how the prior owner maintained it.

Do an oil change, use mobil 1 or Rotella T full synthetic. Change the oil filter. Do the valves. Change coolant. Check the brake fluid and replace.

Then you will know.

Now, to answer your question, the service interval is 7500 miles.

I'm not answering the question but I just had to say this
I bought my 08 M50 on June 17the and its only the 4th of september and I have just about 4000 miles on my M50. I guess I Ride mine more often than most of you lol

I was thinking the same thing. I have an 07' M50 and I have over 6000 miles on it. I ride it to work almost every day. Not looking forward to the day when it gets cold enough to make me switch back to the boring cage.
