| I am 6' even on height, I adjust it to be at the bridge of my nose and it shakes my helmet and face so bad it is like looking through your rearview mirrors at everything! I raise it up to look through it and eliminate that problem, but there is such a gap between it and the headlight that it forces air right up the speedo and into my chest and drives me nuts. I was much more comfortable without a shield, but I do alot of night travelling as I am a bondsman, and the bugs tear me up, so I just spent $350 on it and the brackets and hate it. Any suggestions out there. Thanks.

If the hardware allows, move the shield back down closer to the headlight, and adjust the angle back till it's at the bridge of your nose. That should force the air up over your head and reduce buffeting.

| That. I actually pulled the ws in towards my bars more instead of straight up and down and it is as low as it can go. I can ride it that way for about 50 miles and see , However, the top of the shield now is at about the bottom of my nose, not the bridge, but If I pull it up for the bridge height, I get a 3" gap between the headlight. I ordered the 21" so I wouldn't have any of these problems. Any other suggestions, and thanks for the fast reply.

| That's why I went with the 22". It looks good around the headlight and is just tall enough prevent buffeting for me. I'm 6' tall. I thought that if I'm gonna have a big windshield, I might as well go all out and get a big one. Were I an inch taller, my helmet would start to catch some of the buffeting. Also consider that I've reshaped my seat and seat at least 1.5" lower than I would on the stock seat. With a stock seat I'd need at least a 23" sheild.

I'm going to have to raise the shield for exactly the same reason that you described. I think you are going to have to fashion an "add on" around the headlight; hope I don't have that problem when I do mine. Of course, you could sell what you have and get one that is taller....ouch. Neither choice is really good. I used to believe those "experts" who said look over the shield. Not anymore. I'm gonna set mine so I can sit up a little straighter and see OVER it if I need to but I just simply don't get the coverage I need unless it is up about mid-forehead.

| Found second gear by accident ![]() | i have a memphis fast windshield at only 13inch high. raised as high as it can go on forks and tilt forward slightly from stock position. i have NO problems whatsoever with mine (using a bell drifter half helmet) and i'm 5' 11". it's all positioning i guess.

| Try a piece of foam rubber packing, you know the stuff that is closer packed than a spunge, usually grey. Cut a semi-cirle out to fit closer to the headlight, yet is behind the windshield to fill up the gap. I am using some on my pop-top. I'm 5'9".

| I feel your pain. I'm 6'2" and have the exact same windshield........sitting on a shelf in my garage. The buffetting causes more discomfort than the wind deflection adds. So for me it's no shield at all, but wondering if a smaller one that deflects the wind into my chest would be better. I think this shield would be great for someone not as tall (translation, make me an offer Sorry, I know it's not helping you but the reality is I think those of us over 6' are just too tall for the M50.

| I am 6' tall and have this windshield, and wouldn't ride without it. However I have reshaped the foam in my seat, cutting it down to make a flatter pan of foam. The seat is alot more comfortable and the windshield is actually at the top of my head. There is a gap in the shield between the headlight and shield, but that isn't a big problem for me.

| I'm 6'3" and have the 21" Memphis Fats also, it works great for me. I have it set as low as it will go and it is set to the same rake as the fork legs. I also have the Lowers. Do you have the Lowers. |

| Same windscreen..... Same issue. My brackets allow the bottom of the screen to be pulled in and the top out. It results in the screen sitting almost straight up and down. No wind. If I tilt the top in towards me, I get a nasty buffet.
