Angry Today my M had a MELTDOWN!!!

I was riding 2 up with the wife today..Taking her to the Dr's office.I hit a bump, and then a hole in the bump, and my rear tire rubbed on my license plate light, that I JUST mounted....It seems the original light wires stick out about 3/8 inch to far ,and when my tire reached its suspension limits the wires rubbed on the sidewall of the tire...this caused the entire rear harness of my bike to meltdown, and blowing out the MAIN 30 amp fuse.It took me about 40 minutes to figure out the problem...Thats a long time when you have a sick wife, and no shade at 93*
So a little heads up here...if you mounted your ORIGINAL light on your fender like I did ...be SURE you have more clearance.
I would have never thought my tire could travel so far into the fender well.

yea that rubber weather wrap on the wires does stick out quite a bit but still. try putting the back suspension spring a little harder for doubling up?

Well she is a keeper then. Any woman who would suggest going for a ride while she is sick is very rare indeed.
