Default Chrome

Is anybody doing chrome anymore? I'm thinking about going chrome on as much stuff as possible and seeing how it looks. Body Panels, shaft drive cover, radiator cover, neck cover, oil fill plug, anything I can. Anybode else like the shiny stuff?

do what you like. be different! a lot of folks here like the blacked out look. I like chrome and black so I try to balance the styles on my bike.

Oh I will, I always do what I like - just ask my wife! I'll post some pics after the chrome stuff is installed. I was just curious if someone else already had some pics to share to see how it looked.

I have done a lot of chrome to my bike, and I love it.

I have the chrome grill, neck covers and the shaft drive cover.

I am selling my bike, and I will start selling these pieces some time later today.

Let me know if you are interested.

yeah, I have seen some pics of a few M50's with chrome bits on them. THey look good, and look even better with the C50 engine side covers on them. I will be doing the chrome route too, as I have already stripped the wheels and painted them silver. Too much black for me stock. I like the lines of the bike, but didn't want the Mad Max blacked out death bike thing...

Nice, Let me know if you are selling that windshield. I already ordered the chrome pieces otherwise I would take you up on that offer. I like that round air intake as well, I'm going to install one of those this winter.

I think it matter upon what color your M50 is. I would like to do that also but I have the dark gray/ yellow and not quit sure if it would like good. Get soo many compliments on the stock black parts. Please post a link when one of you guys chrome it out.

I was thinking about doing that. Putting on C50 engine covers but was not sure if it was an exact fit. If it is.... perhaps someone with a C50 might want to do an even swap .

Someone at my work mentioned removing the engine covers and polishing them. Anybody try this?

The blacked out look is what attracted me to this bike, actually. I liked how it stood out from all the chrome of other bikes, and I still like it
