Default Raked forks chopper stlye m50

This is just a photoshop, but I'm really thinking this bike would look pretty good chopped out. Has anyone else seen an M50 with rake? I've seen vol's and c50 with it but our forks are different from theirs so I would have to make my own fork extensions.

That looks wicked. I'm sure it's more work and money than I want to do, but damn is that mean.

That looks awesome. They sell fork rakes and extensions for the M. They are somewhere around $600-700.

That does look very cool and if it worked I would be pretty tempted even though it goes against my performance leaning politics!

Add the 240 rear tire kit, drop the rear end another 1.5" along with the raked forks......got yourself damn near a custom chopper.........But then again you wouldn't have an M50 anymore

That looks great. I do wonder how much effect it would have on the handling of the bike.

That does look pretty cool, but you could probably kiss the M50's easy handling goodbye!

yeah I think I'll just sell the M and buy a salvage chopper with the money and build it my way.

There was a company that makes forks like this for the M50. I think the kit cost close to 2k but I forgot the website. Perhaps someone will know.

The biggest thing is getting the extended inverted forks. I hear it's a pain to locate.

Don't worry about faking it with triple trees. If the frame is cut and done right, it will handle much better plus it will be a real chop. Plus it would be cheaper as your only real cost will be in the forks.

Could come out real good though.

I am under the impression that raked trees actually handle better than a cut and raked neck because a raked neck will increase trail which is a no - no for good handling. I was told this by the people at Morton's and have read it elsewhere in different Magazines. I could be bass ackwards though.
