Default Looking for Saddlebags that don't look awkward.

Anyone have pictures of the cortech tribag saddle installed? I think this bike is too sporty to have leather "cruiser bags", but I'm in need of storage.

I'm kinda thinking the black sport tailbag and saddle bag combo would look the best. [url="http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?productid=149&cat=31"]

Any opinions. Its hard to find storage that looks good with this bike, but I'm thinking I'm leaning towards the black sport saddles.

Yeah yours looks really good....but with the yellow/grey paint on mine, I don't think it would look as good.

How about some brown leather saddlebags?

I bet some of the black, sportier non-leather bags would look pretty cool if they are the right size and mounted the right way. Done right it would look very good. Not done right it would look very not right.

I am thinking the same thing. I found Nelson Riggs CL850 Touring saddlebags and they may look pretty good on an M-50. Check out the website.

i have similiar small bags like rumrunner but i wish i had the cash for the oem boulevard bags. alot bigger and hard plastic inserts would keep the shape nicer.

I like the shape of the sport saddlebags, but I think they are too small for the M. If someone would take that shape, enlarge it, and make them out of leather, I think there would be a lot of happy M owners. My $.02

I picked up a set of the Kuryakyn Grantour bags, (for 99 bucks for a guy looking to downsize) They are huge, can fit a full face and then some in each, needed bigger bags (blame the girlfriend) Raised up as high as they will go, and pushed back, they look pretty decent, once I get the integrated turn signals, I'll be able to push a bit further back, have to be mounted flap forward to clear the passenger pegs. The textile with leather inserts looks good though, a bit of old and new.

How about an Axio Tailbag? http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...AFU#post434475

I've got throw over saddle bags from Canadian Tire. Does the job.

Danthedawgfan...those pipes look great!

YellowXP...those are the first leather bags I've liked.

Thanks for all the opinions. I think I'm going to try the cortech textile sports. I'll post pictures when I order them. Although it may be a couple weeks still.

Hey Snafu,
Do those pegs eat the streets in the turns? I like the look of them, just wondering if they changed your cornering abilities.

I only have them out on long straight Hwy rides. I've never scraped them on turns, but then again I've never scraped the stock pegs either.

Ok. Yeah I've pushed the stock pegs into the street once or twice. They do look good. I may need to become less aggressive on the road and pick me up a set.

This is what a M50 looks like with Cortech tailbag and Cortech sportbags.

No. The bags sit up high enough there is need for bag mounts.
