Wide Tire Kit - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

I happen to come across this site CLICK that sells a wide tire kit for the VS1400 and it got me thinking that it should be within reach to do it to an M50. Try to ignore the cost thing without giving it actual thought on what it would take.

Take a look and Mgineers please provide some input.

would be sick to have a widea55 tire on the back with the signal housing all gone now!

Tell me about it! I've pictured it a million times. I emailed the company in the link and asked if they can provide more info on how it works and if it's something they can look into. I'm gonna take the pic of the swing arm and hopefully any mechanical info the company gives me to a local custom motorcycle shop and see what they say.

Holy crap! Up to 250 series? That's one fatty tire, especially for a bike. But damn that would look mean as hell

Looks cool! But i gotta wonder at the reliability of that shaftdrive u joint? Obviously handling will go into the toilet, but man it'd be cool to look at if nothing else! I guess the fender would have to go too?
